Constructed of a special blend of polypropylene, these racks are rugged, autoclavable, and sink in a water bath. They remain stable- even while water is agitated. Grip racks feature retainer fingers that hold tubes firmly in place. Can be assembled quickly. Feature an alphanumeric matrix. Sold individually.

Multiple Options

Silk-screened, easy-to-read numbers both ensure that each test tube can be quickly identitfied when using multiple samples and allow for robotic procedures. A researcher can program a robotic instrument with specific information for individual cells, which results in maximum accuracy and productivity. The round holes hold 13mm tubes securely, which limits lost samples and damage to instruments. The rack is ideal for automated liquid handling systems or any lab work using 13mm- where cell identification and location is critical. It has a standard 6 x 15 (90 total test tube places) configuration. The autoclavable rack is constructed from durable white polypropylene. Choose from standard numbering or serpentine numbering for precision instrument racks. Measures: 9-3/4 x 4-1/8 x 2-3/16" (25 x 10.5 x 5.6cm).

Multiple Options

The Slant Test Tube Rack has two degrees of slant for a pair of uses. One side has a five-degree slant which produces a large surface area ideal for aerobic cultures. The other side has a 20-degree slant which creates a smaller surface area. It is intended for anaerobic cultures and reduces the drying out of the test medium during storage. Medium-filled tubes are autoclaved in the upright position and then tilted to the desired angle while still hot. The rack can be submersed in a water bath or used for incubating tissue cultures. The rack comes in a 13mm to 16mm test tube size or a 16mm to 20mm tube size. Each rack has 40 places (4 x 10), which are numbered and lettered for added convenience. Measures 10-1/2 x 6 x 5-1/8" (267 x 152 x 130cm).

Multiple Options

The Full-View Test Tube Support is extremely versatile. The rack utilizes narrow pins which can be used as a support for full tubes or in the draining process of empty tubes (inverted tubes fit easily over the pins). Steam autoclavable at 250°F (121°C). Several sizes and tube capacities available.
