DWK Life Sciences TLC Developing Tanks

Develop thin layer chromatography (TLC) plates up to 20 x 20cm in this rectangular TLC Developing Tank. Made from molded glass with clear sides that allow visual inspection or photography. The top edges of the tank are ground flat to match the lids, and beveled to remove sharp edges. The tank™s bottom is ground flat to provide a level surface for stability. The inside bottom has a raised ridge that allows the simultaneous development of two 20 x 20cm or four 5 x 20cm plates. Tanks come with one of three lids: standard, nonslip or latched. Nonslip lids have a knob for easy lifting and PTFE retainers inside that prevent the lid from accidentally slipping off. Latch lids have stainless steel latches that hold the lid firmly to the tank, significantly improving the stability of the saturated environment for developing TLC plates. Latch lids also have a knob and the PTFE retainers. The tank™s inside dimensions: 9-3/4H x 10-5/8W x 2-7/8�D (25 x 27 x 7cm). Weight: 12 lbs (5.4kg).
