MTCBio™ C2625-R 25mL Centrifuge Tubes, PP (27 x 77mm), Flat Screw Cap, Sterile, 8 Foam Racks of 25 Tubes, 200 Tubes/Pack

The MTC Bio 25mL Racked Centrifuge tubes feature a flat screw cap and close the gap between the popular 15mL and 50mL tubes.  Ideal for Midipreps, general sample prep, centrifugation and mixing & storage.  The 33% reduced height and large diameter design (identical to 50mL tubes) allows for a faster resuspension of pellets and 100% recovery of small samples.  The concerns about cross-contamination are erased by the hood friendly and low profile/wide diameter format.  Just below the cap these centrifuge tubes have a 360 degree support rim.  This rim (similar to 1.5mL tubes) allows the tube to fit in most racks, shields and blocks or rotors without needing an adapter.  These MTC Bio tubes are made from a high clarity polypropylene and can withstand up to 17,000xg maximum RCF and are sterile, Certified RNase, DNase and pyrogen free.
