The Oxford Lab Products Conical Tube is made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. The tube is supplied sterile, and although it is autoclavable, the polyethylene screw caps for the tube is not. The tube cap may be frozen at temperatures as low as -45˚C. Meanwhile, the conical tube itself is capable of withstanding temperatures from – 80 to +121 degrees Celsius.
Conical 50 mL centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. Tubes and caps may be frozen at temperatures as low as -86˚C. The maximum centrifugal force is 15,000xg. Caps have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling.
These centrifuge tubes are also useful for collecting and transporting biological specimens. Leakproof characteristics are ensured by a flat top plastic screw cap with an inner sealing lip. Tubes are made of translucent polypropylene or optically clear polystyrene with molded graduations from 2.5 to 50 ml. Polypropylene tubes can be autoclaved and will resist temperatures up to 121 °C; they will also resist acids, solvents and alkalies at room temperature.
They withstand centrifugation speeds of 3000g. Polystyrene tubes can tolerate aqueous solutions of mild bases or weak acids, but not organic solvents, aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons, and they cannot be autoclaved. They withstand centriguation speeds up to 1000g.
CellTreat’s 30ml Sterile Centrifuge tubes are and excellent choice for intermediate centrifuge tube volumes. These tubes have a self standing base for using without a rack. Features molded graduations with volume accuracy +/-2%. Tubes have a conical bottom for maximized sample retrieval. Autoclavable and RNase and DNaase Free.

CellTreat 50mL sterile and bagged centrifuge tubes are packaged using an improved process in convenient zippered bags – a smart alternative to folding and taping opened bags. Easily refill your reusable racks with these tubes packed in bags. Graduated with measurements printed in bold black ink with accuracy +/-2%. Features a large white marking area and easy to write-on flat HDPE caps which have a leak-proof seal. Conical bottom ideal for pellet viewing and small volume quantification.
