SoftFit-L Tips are an economical alternative to Rainin™s more expensive LTS pipet tips. Low-retention SoftFit-L Tips allow researchers to dispense a variety of viscous samples, loading dyes and surfactants with an extremely high degree of accuracy. These totally inert tips significantly increase the levels of reproducibility from experiment to experiment while decreasing the amount of reagent loss in the laboratory. SoftFit-L Tips take advantage of the LiteTouch design. They provide a strong seal and decrease the amount of force needed for tip ejection, offering an ergonomic benefit by reducing the pressure and pain of repetitive force associated with ejecting pipet tips, and thereby reducing the risk of Cumulative Trauma Disorders, the most common laboratory-related injury.
SoftFit-L Tips are available in the standard line, both nonsterile and sterile, and in the Aerosol Resistant Tip (ART) line, which is designed with a self-sealing barrier that traps contaminating aerosols and liquids, preventing contamination of the pipettor barrel.
