KIMAX® Colorware flasks are brighter in appearance than traditional glassware with white markings. These flasks are also commonly used to help reduce cross-contamination and for easy identification of glassware between labs. All flasks have durable, colored, ceramic enamel scales to indicate approximate volumes at various levels. Tops are reinforced and tooled with a rounded finish, containing more glass to give them maximum mechanical strength. The body is thick-walled, with a long tapered outside contour to minimize chipping when struck or rubbed together.
Sturdy construction with a heavy-duty rim provides superior mechanical strength and reduces chipping. Uniform wall thickness. Permanent white graduations and marking spot for identification. Made of borosilicate glass. Graduated. Accuracy ±5%. Choose fromStandard or withFiltering Tubulation.
Liquid levels are easily visible through the translucent, chemically resistant polypropylene, which is steam autoclavable at 250°F (121°C). The side-arm is molded with a 45° downward angle to avoid tipping, and accepts tubing from 3/8 to 1/2 ID (9.5 to 12.7mm).
Sold individually.
KIMAX® flask with side tubulation.
KIMAX® flask with side tubulation. Flasks are designed to take 1 atmosphere of vacuum or 29" of mercury. Sizes 25mL through 500mL have side hose connection designed to accept 5/16¯ I.D. flexible tubing. Sizes 1000mL and larger accept 3/8¯ I.D. tubing. Made with a heavier wall than a standard Erlenmeyer flask.
Designed from ASTM Specification E1406, Type II, Class I requirements.
These flasks are the choice for general laboratory usage, constructed of KG-33 KIMAX® borosilicate glass. Tops are reinforced and tooled with a rounded finish, containing more glass to give them maximum mechanical strength. Body is thick-walled with a long tapered outside contour to minimize chipping when struck or rubbed together. All flasks have durable white ceramic enamel scales to indicate approximate volumes at various levels, useful in measuring and mixing solutions where a high degree of accuracy is not necessary. Designed from ASTM Specification E1404, Type I, Class 1 requirements.
Starter Set contains 5 flasks: one each of 50, 125, 250, 500, and 1000mL.
