The Sartorius Biosart 100 Monitors provide easy and reliable detection of microorganisms in liquids. These monitors analyze relatively large sample volumes that have a low number of microbes with membrane filtration being an essential step.  In addition the monitors are suitable for testing smaller volumes by placing a sample in a few mL of sterile physiological NaCl solution. The monitors are sterile disposables consisting of a membrane filter and cellulose pad.

These monitors are ready to use filter units designed to be placed at the bases of a vacuum manifold ensuring the identification of all colonies.  They come with a cellulose nitrate membrane assuring effective retention with high flow rates and optimal colony growth.  The grid lines printed on the monitor make counting easier, but do not influence growth.
